After being periodically cleaned by the flushing system, the captured droplets are discharged, thereby ensuring that the emitted gases meet the stringent national environmental protection standards.
In the chemical industry, especially during the tail-gas treatment stage in equipment such as distillation towers and absorption towers, effective mist eliminators play an equally important role. For example, in ammonia synthesis or chlor-alkali chemical production processes, by selecting appropriate mist eliminator sheets and optimizing the design of guide vanes, it is possible to efficiently separate tail gases carrying tiny liquid droplets, thereby preventing harmful substances from escaping into the atmosphere with the gas stream and simultaneously enabling the recovery of valuable materials.
Moreover, on offshore oil development platforms, specialized mist eliminators are installed inside three-phase separators for oil, gas, and water. These devices accurately separate the produced mixture even under harsh conditions, ensuring that oil, gas, and water are conveyed separately, preventing oil mist from contaminating the sea surface while also reducing resource waste.
The design and performance of demister accessories directly affect the operational efficiency and purification effectiveness of the entire system. Therefore, continuously enhancing the corrosion resistance and anti-scaling capabilities of accessory materials, optimizing structural designs to improve mist capture efficiency, and developing intelligent control technologies to facilitate maintenance and cleaning are all important directions for technological research and development in the industry today.
